“My class absolutely loved this book and giggled all the way through the story about greedy Boo. They loved the rhyme and the bright and comical illustrations. There is some great vocabulary in this text which makes it a good teaching resource also within rhyme, spelling patterns and suffixes. But mainly, this is just a really well-written and beautifully illustrated fun book to enjoy with your family or class. We are so pleased to have a copy in our library!” A.T, Library Lead Teacher, Remarkables Primary School, Queenstown
Note from Rachel:
I was inspired to write this story because of our dog, Phantom. He had an avocado addiction! Every night under the cover of darkness he would sneak over to the neighbours property and steal an avocado (or three!) from their tree. Trotting home with his nightly prize he would peel the avocado skin off with his teeth, eat the flesh and leave behind the stone, skin, and green smudges all over the carpet!
This book is dedicated to Phantom, and dogs everywhere, who bring love and laughter to our homes xx

My 5yo and 3yo have had “Tutti Frutti” read to them so many times that they recite the words out loud to me when I’m too slow turning the page! They have huge grins on their faces because they know which fruit is coming up. Also, they love the repetitive rhymes. They both can’t read yet so it really brings joy to me to hear them memorising the words in the story.
Rochelle Androutsos –
We have loved this story. As soon as you begin to read, you know that you’re going to love Boo and his family. Rachel’s use of rhyme and repetition is playful and fun. Anyone who’s had to survive the antics of a cheeky pet, will relate to this story about Boo’s mischief! It really calls for a sequel I think… 🙂
Chris –
I gave a copy of ‘Boo Goes Tutti Frutti’ to our grandies and they think it’s the cutest/funniest story! It’s now a family favourite and read on repeat!
